Smart capacitor dielectric materials: dielectric materials used in smart capacitors are mainly solid, which can be divided into two categories: organic and inorganic. According to the form of molecular structure, inorganic dielectric materials have microcrystalline ionic structure, amorphous structure and both the structure. Organic dielectric materials are mainly covalent bonds composed of polymer structure, according to the structure of symmetry or not can be divided into two categories of non-polar and polar. Electrolytic capacitors used in the dielectric is directly grown on the anode metal oxide film, is also an ionic structure.
The polarization of non-polar organic materials and inorganic materials with more perfect and tight ionic structure belongs to the type of fast polarization; while polar organic materials and ionic crystals with relaxed structure belong to the type of slow polarization. The former dielectric constant ε is lower, the loss angle tangent tgδ value is very small, temperature, frequency characteristics are better, and volume resistivity is also higher; the latter is roughly the opposite.
Smart capacitor dielectric material under the action of the external electric field will occur polarization, loss, conductivity and breakdown phenomena, they represent the basic characteristics of the dielectric, and these characteristics depend on the components and molecular structure form.
